Something happen to your pooch? Want friendly advice or just wanna share what happened to them recently? Bring it here. We'll give you the best advice we can and open up some other possibilities if you need some help getting your pet cared for.
Please only post family-friendly pet-sites here. :) However, we're always glad to expand and link our members to other possible pet sites. Funny or humorous sites can also be posted here. Please provide a link and a short description of the site you're linking to please. Any inappropriate links will be removed and you'll be warned.
Wanna talk about purebreds? It all goes here. Show information, events, meets, breed information, whatever! If it concerns a purebred pooch, this is where you put it.
Purebreds are defined as being recognized by at least one kennel club.
Like the Purebred section, this area is for people talking about mixed-breeds. Mutts, mongrels, mixies, whatever you wanna call them. They're special too, even if they don't have special breeding. ;)
Mixed breeds are defined as being from an unknown breed set, or as a mixture of purebreds.
Somewhere out there we might have breeders, or those interested in being breeders. Flaming of people will not be tolerated. We're a supportive community, and we'd love to hear about your breeding success. :D However, Canine Haven in no way supports irresponsible breeding. Spaying and neutering of your pets not only helps you and them, but also helps to lessen pet over-population.
Puppies! This shouldn't be confused with the breeding section. This is just general talk about newborn puppies, puppies you've just brought home, or puppies in general! Maybe even trouble puppies.
Puppies are defined as being ages 0 - 12 months.

Domesticated animals include anything that's sold in pet shops, shelters, etc. It does not include outlawed or black-market animals though. :) Ferrets, parrots, anything domestic other than cats and dogs would go here. :D
This section is for general talk about all animals. As long as it doesn't concern something already covered. Maybe your dog had an encounter with a duck, or a cat, or something.Or your cat discovered a snake... whatever, it goes here. :D
